After losing his family in a car crash, withdrawn and suicidal teenager Cha Hyun-soo moves alone into Room 1410 of the Green Home, a worn apartment complex where he intends to shut out the world. Soon the residents start suffering nosebleeds and hallucinations, and through his video intercom Hyun-soo watches a neighbor turn into a flesh-eating monster. As a wider monsterization outbreak collapses society outside, Hyun-soo and the trapped tenants of the Green Home barricade themselves in and try to survive creatures shaped by their own desires.
