Synopsis
Ryouta Sakamoto is an unemployed twenty-something whose one claim to fame is ranking among the world's top players of the online combat game Btooom! He wakes up on a tropical island with no memory of getting there, a transmitter embedded in his hand, and a bag of the game's signature throwable bombs, the BIM. To leave, players must hunt down and kill seven others and collect the chips embedded in their bodies. Ryouta's only edge is the game knowledge that, until now, never left the screen.
