Junta Shiraishi is so unremarkable that classmates and teachers overlook him entirely, treating his seat as empty as if he were a background character no one registers. His invisibility breaks when classmate Nagisa Kubo decides to notice him, teasing him daily and nudging him into situations that force him to stand out.
