Akumetsu

アクメツ

In a near-future Japan crushed by corruption and a collapsing economy, a masked figure calling himself Akumetsu begins assassinating the politicians and businessmen he blames for the country's ruin. The trail runs through Shou Hazama, a sleazy, ordinary high-schooler, and his friend Shiina Nagasawa, whose family is driven to debt and desperation by the same rot. Each Akumetsu wears a mask that bores into the skull and copies its wearer's memories, letting the campaign continue even as one killer after another dies.
