In his final year of high school, withdrawn Taichi Ichinose lands in the same class as Toma Mita, the athletic childhood friend he has grown apart from. Their renewed contact begins when classmate Futaba Kuse confides that she has a crush on Toma and asks Taichi to help her get closer to him. As Taichi reluctantly plays go-between, the feelings tangling the three of them prove harder to read than any of them expected.
