Withdrawn gamer Jirou Yakuin would rather be paired with his childhood crush Shiori Sakurazaka when his school launches a couples-training program that has students live as practice married pairs. Because the top-ranked pairs earn the right to swap partners, Jirou and Akari grit their teeth and play house, and the line between the act and how they actually feel starts to blur.
