Fresh off a breakup, college student Akane Kinoshita keeps logging into the MMORPG she used to play with her ex and runs into Yamada, a blunt guildmate who barely registers her feelings. When she shows up to an in-person game event to spite her ex, the handsome stranger who bails her out turns out to be Yamada in the flesh — a high-schooler and pro gamer.
