Yoshifumi Nitta is a young yakuza of the Ashikawa-gumi enjoying his neat bachelor life when a strange pod crashes into his apartment and out steps Hina, an expressionless girl with overwhelming psychokinetic powers. She bluntly informs him she will be living there, and Nitta, wary of what she could wreck, has little choice but to take her in. As Hina settles into school and ordinary life, more children from her world arrive, including the telekinetic Anzu, who was sent to eliminate Hina but ends up adrift on the streets instead.
