Akira Oda, a forgettable high schooler, is transported alongside his entire class to the kingdom of Retice in a world threatened by a Demon King. While class president Tsukasa Satō receives the Hero class, Akira is assigned Assassin — a role the kingdom dismisses as mere support. Suspicious of the royal family's motives, Akira allies with Knight Commander Saran Mithray and uses his stealth to uncover the truth behind the summoning.
