Usagi Tsukino is a clumsy, easily-frightened Tokyo schoolgirl whose life changes when a talking black cat named Luna tells her she is a guardian destined to fight evil. Granted a brooch that lets her transform into Sailor Moon, Usagi is tasked with finding the Legendary Silver Crystal and protecting a hidden princess. As enemies surface, she meets other girls who awaken as Sailor Guardians named for the planets, and the masked Tuxedo Mask, who appears whenever she is in danger.
