Warumono-san is a general in an alien organization bent on conquering Earth, but on his rare days off he trades world domination for the local zoo, specifically the panda enclosure. Each short episode follows his quiet outings through the city: buying panda merchandise, sampling convenience-store sweets, feeding pigeons in the park, and accidentally befriending the very Rangers who are supposed to be fighting him. His imposing alien frame, complete with horns and a cloak, draws stares everywhere except from the pandas.
