Sumireko Ogawa, a 28-year-old bookstore clerk and lapsed novelist, stumbles on a mysterious book that grants her the power to shift her physical age at will. Her coworker Ren Adashino, who harbors his own secrets, recruits her to investigate supernatural incidents cropping up across their city. Together with Ren's sister Oto, Sumireko traces each case back to yokai and urban legends while piecing together what Ren and Oto really are.
