Tsukimi Kurashita lives at Amamizukan, a Tokyo apartment building of otaku women where men are banned, and channels her love of jellyfish into memories of her late mother. One night a glamorous stranger rescues a jellyfish she's worried about and follows her home, only for Tsukimi to realize the beautiful woman is actually Kuranosuke, a cross-dressing young man from a political family. His intrusion upends the sheltered world of Amamizukan and pulls its shut-in residents toward the city outside.
