Zaha Sanko is a dark alien teenager hunted across the galaxy because legend holds that whoever owns his bones can have any wish granted, which makes nearly every creature he meets want him dead. He survives on the run with Avakian, a giant talking skeleton who guards him and disguises himself as a backpack, the two searching space for whoever cursed his bones in the first place. Traveling with them is Shimada Death, a death god who feeds on death itself and can kill with a touch.
