Akira, a genius assassin known in the underworld as Fable, can eliminate any target in under six seconds. When his boss orders him to take a year off and live as an ordinary citizen, Akira moves to Osaka with his partner Yoko — posing as siblings under the surname Satou — and tries to hold down a regular job, make friends, and resist every instinct that made him lethal. The local yakuza clan housing them has no idea what kind of talent is sitting in their guest apartment.
