Penelope Eckhart is the doomed villainess of a reverse-harem dating sim, and a university student who fell asleep grinding the game's hard mode wakes up in her place. The Eckhart house that adopted Penelope resents her, and a wrong answer can end with one of the male leads killing her. Starting from rock-bottom affection scores, she has to raise the hostile dukedom's regard for her, win over her adoptive brothers Derrick and Reynold, and outmaneuver the daughter the family actually wants, all to reach an ending where she survives.
