Synopsis
Fresh off a breakup, office worker Ozawa wanders into the apartment of Oyamada, a neighbor a few floors below her in the same building. His place is crammed with Buddhist statues, oddball clutter, and gifts a relative keeps sending him to help him purge his worldly desires, and the friends nickname the room Bonnouji. Ozawa finds the chaotic space oddly soothing and keeps coming back, and her easy evenings with the unhurried Oyamada slowly grow into a relationship between two adults in no rush at all.
