When Will Ayumu Make His Move?

Ayumu Tanaka, a first-year and former kendo athlete, joins his school's unofficial shogi club, where he has fallen for its president, second-year Urushi Yaotome. He has made himself one rule: he won't confess until the day he beats her at shogi — and he has yet to win a single match. Urushi, sure he likes her, keeps trying to tease a confession out of him, but Ayumu's unbreakable poker face turns every after-school game into a quiet standoff.
