Seaside Stranger: Umibe no Étranger

On a small island near Okinawa, Shun is a young novelist living with his aunt after his parents cut ties with him for being gay. He grows close to Mio, a withdrawn teenager who recently lost his parents and spends his days by the sea. Just as the two begin to open up to each other, Mio announces he is leaving the island, and only years later does he return to tell Shun how he truly feels.
