Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad

Long before he rules the trading nation of Sindria, Sinbad is a poor boy in the Parthevia Empire, caring for his ailing mother after war claims his father Badr. When he shelters a strange traveler named Yunan, he learns the man is a magi who has marked him as a King candidate. Yunan points him toward Baal, the first of the mysterious dungeons that have risen across the world, where conquering the trial within grants a Djinn's power. This prequel to Magi traces how that first dungeon sets Sinbad on the path to building his own kingdom.
