マイガール

Masamune Kazama is a twenty-three-year-old stationery-company employee still hung up on Yoko, a university student four years his senior who struck up a conversation over the ladybug charm on his pencil back in high school and then left to study abroad. Word reaches him that Yoko has died overseas, and at her funeral he learns she raised a daughter there in secret: five-year-old Koharu, who is his. Masamune takes Koharu in, and the two feel their way toward being father and daughter around the memory of the woman they share.
