In the Kabuki-cho red-light district of Shinjuku, a manipulator known only as the Old Geezer programs a fragile, tearful young man named Ichi to kill on command, hiding a blade in his boot. The Geezer aims Ichi at the Anjo yakuza family to murder boss Yoshio Anjo and seize his money. When Anjo vanishes, his sadistic lieutenant Kakihara, whose slit cheeks are held shut by piercings, begins tearing through the underworld to find whoever took his boss.
