Synopsis
In Tokugawa-era Japan, a duel is set between two crippled swordsmen: the one-armed Fujiki Gennosuke and the blind Irako Seigen. Both trained under the cruel grandmaster Kogan Iwamoto at the Kogan-ryū dojo, where Seigen rose to challenge Gennosuke for the title of successor before a bitter falling-out left one man without his sight and the other without an arm. Their long, brutal history surfaces in flashback as the rivals advance through a lethal tournament fought with live blades before Lord Tokugawa Tadanaga.
