Kazuya Kagami carries his late mother's obi everywhere, until the sash transforms into a kimono-clad girl named Kiriha — a tsukumogami, an object that has gained a soul after long years with its owner. When an amasogi, a spirit born from someone's spiteful wish, attacks and nearly kills him, Kiriha steps in to defend him. Pulled into a hidden world of gods and tsukumogami, Kazuya begins training to fight the amasogi while questions about his own forgotten past start to surface.
