Daydreamer Yuna Ichihara, mourning the move of her closest friend, meets the down-to-earth Akari Yamamoto by chance at a train station, and the two first-year high schoolers quickly grow close. Their friendship soon tangles with two boys: Akari's good-looking stepbrother Rio, on whom Yuna develops a crush, and Yuna's childhood friend Kazuomi, who has never understood love at all. Four teenagers with clashing ideas of romance pull each other through hope, missteps, and the awkward distance between liking and being liked.
