Revenger

Raizou Kurima, a samurai of the Satsuma domain, is tricked into killing his own father-in-law over false accusations of opium trafficking. After his fiancée dies in the aftermath, Raizou is recruited by Yuen Usui into the Revengers, a covert group that carries out vengeance for hire from behind a lacquerware shop called Ribenjiya. Alongside the hulking doctor Teppa, the androgynous assassin Nio, and the card-throwing gambler Soji, Raizou hunts the conspiracy that used him.
