Synopsis
Raizou Kurima, a samurai of the Satsuma domain, is tricked into killing his own father-in-law over false accusations of opium trafficking. After his fiancée dies in the aftermath, Raizou is recruited by Yuen Usui into the Revengers—a covert group that carries out vengeance for hire from behind a lacquerware shop called Ribenjiya. Alongside the hulking doctor Teppa, the androgynous assassin Nio, and the card-throwing gambler Soji, Raizou hunts the conspiracy that used him.
