Ichirou Suzuki, a 29-year-old game programmer worn out from a debugging crunch, falls asleep and wakes inside a fantasy world as a 15-year-old named Satou, with a game-style menu floating before him. A burst from his Meteor Shower items wipes out an army of lizardmen and rockets his level to 310 in an instant. Hiding his true strength behind a young merchant's papers, Satou sets out to sightsee the world and gathers a growing band of companions along the way.
