The Summer You Were There

君と綴るうたかた

Shizuku Hoshikawa barely speaks to anyone and pours herself into a novel she never plans to let anybody read. That changes when Kaori Asaka, a bright, popular classmate, gets hold of the manuscript and proposes a deal: the two of them should pretend to date, so Shizuku will have real material for her writing. The fake relationship gives Shizuku the experiences she lacked, but it also edges both girls toward the private wounds each has kept hidden.
