Nineteen-year-old college student Hana falls for a quiet classmate who turns out to be a wolf able to move between human and wolf shape. Their two children inherit it: Yuki, born on a snowy day, and Ame, born on a rainy one. When the wolf man dies, Hana raises them alone, hides their shifting from the neighbors, and moves the family to the countryside so the two can grow up with room to choose what they will be. This manga adapts Mamoru Hosoda's film.
