Yuuma Azawa transfers from school to school, apologizing profusely to everyone he meets. The apologies are no act of courtesy: each one channels a pact he made with the Devil, and the brain of whoever accepts it liquefies. His unsettling younger sister Chizumi never leaves his side, and between them the pair leave a line of melted victims across every town they pass through.
