A botched peeping attempt reconnects middle schooler Yuuichi Kanba with his childhood friend Makio Fujiyama, the 181-centimeter ace of the school volleyball team who towers over everyone around her. On impulse the much shorter Kanba asks her out, and to his shock she agrees. The pair then try to keep their new relationship quiet, no easy task when Fujiyama draws every eye in the room.
