Veil

In a stylized European city of the early twentieth century, the young police officer Aleksander crosses paths with Emma, a blind woman, and helps her find work as a telephone operator at his station. Told in short full-color vignettes, Veil follows the two as they grow closer, the boundary between friendship and love drawn as thin as its title suggests.
