Synopsis
Mikako Nagamine and Noboru Terao are middle-school classmates close to confessing their feelings when Mikako is selected to pilot a mecha in humanity's interstellar war against an alien force. As her ship travels ever farther from Earth, the only link between them is cell-phone text messages that take longer and longer to arrive. This manga adapts Makoto Shinkai's short film, with art by Mizu Sahara.
