Isaku Senagaki wants nothing more than a normal high school debut — friends, maybe a boyfriend — but growing up as the granddaughter of a yakuza boss makes that difficult. Her overprotective guardian Keiya Utō, a twenty-six-year-old clan member, fakes his age and enrolls in her school to keep every potential suitor at arm's length, even as his own feelings for Isaku surface.
