ピンポン

Childhood friends Yutaka "Peco" Hoshino and Makoto "Smile" Tsukimoto have played table tennis together since they were kids, and at Katase High the game stops being a game. The cocky Peco coasts on raw talent while the withdrawn Smile holds himself back, never beating his friend on purpose. When Katase's coach spots what Smile is hiding and pushes him toward the summer tournament, the two run into sharper rivals, among them Kong Wenge, a Chinese player dropped from his national team and now playing for Tsujido.
