Exorcist ninja Matsuri Kazamaki has spent years shielding his childhood friend Suzu Kanade, an ayakashi medium whose power draws spirits to her. When Shirogane, the self-proclaimed King of Ayakashi, targets Suzu directly, Matsuri manages to seal most of the creature's power — but not before Shirogane curses him, transforming his body from male to female. Now stuck in an unfamiliar form, Matsuri continues to protect Suzu while searching for a way to reverse the curse.
