Yūto Sakuraba is an open otaku who admires an online illustrator working under the name Sayane. He gradually realizes that Kotone Kashiwagi, the popular girl seated next to him at school, is secretly Sayane herself. As Yūto takes a part-time job at his favorite anime shop and keeps crossing paths with her, the two bond over the hobbies they both hide from most of their classmates.
