Synopsis
Kazuya Souma is summoned to the Kingdom of Elfrieden as a hero meant to fight the demons threatening the continent. Instead of taking up a sword, he lays out a plan to fix the kingdom's failing finances and administration using knowledge from his own world. Impressed, the king abdicates on the spot, names Souma his successor, and betroths him to Princess Liscia. Now ruler of a struggling realm, Souma recruits talented commoners and tackles reform rather than glory.
