Axis Powers ヘタリア

Italy, cheerful and endlessly hungry for pasta, attaches himself to the strict, disciplined Germany for military training, while the reserved Japan completes the Axis trio. Every nation in the world appears as a young man whose quirks caricature that country's stereotypes and history. Short gag strips replay episodes of World War II and of wider history as petty squabbles, shifting alliances and cultural mix-ups between the nation-characters, with dozens of other countries wandering in and out.
