+Anima

Cooro is a +Anima, one of a feared minority of humans able to transform parts of their bodies into those of animals, and his black crow wings get him mistaken for a messenger of death. Traveling to find others like himself, he falls in with three more +Anima: Husky, who grows a fish tail in water; the silent, bear-armed Senri; and Nana, who sprouts bat wings. Shunned by ordinary society, the four cross from town to town searching for a place where they belong.
