Nokoru Mitsuhashi, an engineer who has started working from home, spends his days fixing up and reorganizing his apartment. From his balcony he keeps crossing paths with Natsu Izumi, the neighbor next door, and the two strike up a quiet acquaintance that slowly turns into something more. There are no manufactured misunderstandings here: Nokoru and Natsu speak plainly about what they feel, and their bond grows out of small, ordinary exchanges over the balcony rail.
