Nakaba Endou, who dropped out of school and has spent a year shut away at home, takes his first job at a convenience store to break out of his NEET life. Watching Yamai quietly rescue a stray cat changes how Nakaba sees him, and as the two grow closer, Nakaba starts to fear that what he feels for his coworker will collide with the reason he shut himself away.
