Hayato Izumi runs for student council president at his new high school and loses to Ui Wakana, a bubbly girl who campaigns on freeing up romance on campus, condoms tossed into the crowd during her speech and all. Stuck as vice-president, Hayato then learns that the rival who beat him is the wife his parents promised him in an agreement made when the two were three years old. Ui promptly moves into his apartment, leaving the buttoned-up Hayato sharing a roof with the girl now running the school.
