Yuu Tomonaga was admitted to an American university at thirteen and went on into its graduate program, until his research funding dried up and he left. Broke, back in Japan and still looking for a way to continue the work on his own, he takes a teaching post an old friend arranges for him at an all-girls high school. He is barely older than the students he now stands in front of, and the classroom treats the young genius as anything but an authority.
