Ogushi-sama is a god of hair, and the short, jagged chapters of this horror anthology follow the people it takes an interest in. Hair carries the curse: a strand left behind, a lock kept as a keepsake, a head shaved in penance. Victims surface in scenes of modern Japan that look unrelated, in apartments, offices and classrooms, and the fragments slowly reveal how they connect and what the deity wants from the living.
