Shuri von Neuschwanstein was barely more than a girl when her much-older husband died, leaving her to govern his lands and raise his four children, who never accepted her as their mother. Worn down by scheming nobles and a cold household, she finally expects freedom on the day her eldest stepson marries, only to die and wake up seven years in the past, on the night of her husband's funeral. Given the chance to relive those years, Shuri resolves to rewrite the fairy tale that broke her.
