ひかりのまち

On a sunlit hill sits a town nicknamed the city of light, though its glow hides a bleak underside. Tasuku, a young boy, works there as a messenger for a shadowy group that arranges suicides over the phone. Other youths scrape by around him: Satoshi jumps from one odd job to the next, and Momoko was abandoned by her mother. Hoichi runs shady errands while dreaming of buying the whole town and turning it back into the country village where he was born.
