Rachel Gardner wakes with no memory in the basement of a strange building and comes face to face with Zack, a bandaged killer swinging a scythe. To survive the floors above, the two strike a bargain: Rachel will help Zack escape, and in exchange he promises to be the one who kills her. As they climb past traps and the building's other inhabitants, including a man called Danny who claims to be Rachel's doctor, the deal binds the amnesiac girl and the murderer together.
