Min Geun-soo loses his sight in his twenties, and with it the manhwa career he was building and any way to care for his mother, whose dementia sends her into a nursing home. At his lowest point he is pulled back by Jeon So-ri, a deaf woman who grew up in an orphanage reading his work. The two build a life together, writing letters on each other's skin, finding their footing across the gaps that blindness, deafness, and other people's assumptions open between them.
