In a post-apocalyptic city where genetic experiments and street violence are routine, four loners circle the same underworld looking for answers about their pasts. Four loosely connected chapters introduce Mihai, a former hitman tending bar, and Heine, a white-haired killer with a metal collar bolted to his neck. The other two are Naoto, a swordswoman hunting the assassin who killed her family, and Badou, a chain-smoking information broker and gun for hire. Each of them is chasing a way down below the city. This prelude sets up the cast and world that Dogs: Bullets & Carnage later expands.
